Trash2Cash Home & Business is a service that pays individual customers & businesses for recycling unwanted plastic bottles, tetrapaks, aluminium cans, reusable books, reusable clothing, and paper waste. We will come and collect the above-mentioned items from your home/business so that you are able to get paid from the comfort of your home/business.

• Plastic bottles (water, fizzy drinks, juice, milk, drinking yogurt, shampoo, conditioner, cooking sauces, liquid detergent bottles etc.)

• Aluminum cans (beer, fizzy drinks cans etc.)

• Tetrapaks (milk, juice cartons, Milo packets etc.)

• Reusable books (excluding medical & I.T. books)

• Reusable clothes

• Glass Bottles

• Paper waste

No, since books and clothes are collected for reuse, they must meet a certain quality standard.

Below are some guidelines:

Clothes

• No discoloration/ stains

• No visible tears/ holes

• Should be washed

Books

• No visible tears/ holes/ stains

• No missing pages

• No excessive highlights/ underlines/ scribbles

Yes, please be kind enough to rinse the plastic bottles/ aluminum cans/ tetrapaks/ glass bottles that you are about to hand in.

Yes, In order for us to come there, it has to make sense from an environmental point of view.

Preferably, you should have one or more of the following items.

• Plastic bottles/ Tetrapaks/ Aluminium cans - 40 containers

• Reusable clothes - 5 Pcs

• Reusable books - 5 books

• Paper waste - 5 kg

• Glass Bottles- 10 kg

• Plastic bottles/ Tetrapaks/ Aluminium cans - Rs.10 per 1kg

• Paper waste - Rs.5 per 1kg

Once you have handed in the items, you will earn trash2cash credit in real time.You can redeem the credit that you receive through Trash2Cash Home & Business at selected Keells outlets at the cashier. After shopping in store, and at the cashier, inform him/her that you would like to redeem your Trash2Cash credit. You will then need to give out the same mobile number that you received the credit for.

The plastic materials we collect will be made into polyester yarn, the tetrapaks will be used to fabricate stationary, the aluminum cans will be repurposed into ornaments, and the reusable books and clothing that we collect will find new homes in places where they are needed and appreciated.
