Operations Executive

Handle end to end operations and hardware maintenance, on and off the field to ensure uninterrupted service to customers who recycle. Potential to grow within the company to head all business operations.

Chakra Suthra’s core product Trash2cash is a tech-based recycling platform that consist of a network of smart recycling bins and an on-demand app-based home collection system.

The Role

Operations

Coordinate logistics operation between collection points and recyclers
Be the main point of contact to our recycling partners
Train field staff collecting recyclables and liase with onsite staff to resolve issues
Manage personnel at machines during promotions/activations
Resolve customer complaints

Platform related (Hardware and software)

Monitor Portal for breakdowns
Maintain smooth operation of the Chakra Suthra platform (machines and software)
Assist in machine setup, software upgrades and maintenance
Resolve machine breakdowns/issues

Finance and Analytics

Financial reconciliation of inventory
Using data generated from platform analytics to improve performance, efficiency and profitability

Requirements/ skills/ qualifications

Passion to create impact to society/ environment
Basic understanding of the recycling industry
Ability to think creatively to overcome problems
Work independently with minimum supervision
2 years field operations experience preferred
Operations and logistics related qualification
Basic understanding of hardware and software
Manage Excel spread sheets
Independent mode of transport a must
Preferably residing in Wattala Kandana and Ja ela area

Period and nature of contract

6 months probation
Full time
Thereafter fixed term contract

In line with your experience but not exceeding 100 K/month
